On the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day

On the 50th commemoration of the primary Earth Day, high schooler environment dissident Greta Thunberg says we shouldn't let the Covid pandemic cause us to fail to remember the continuous environment emergency.

She talked from the Nobel Gallery in Stockholm, in a video discussion with Potsdam Establishment for Environment Effect Teacher Johan Rockstrom in Germany.

Thunberg said both the environment emergency and the pandemic are comparable in that "we pay attention to researchers, to science and to the specialists." She said circumstances such as these expect individuals to set to the side their disparities and act.

Thunberg and Rockstrom held their advanced discussion to pay tribute to Earth Day, and examined "boldness, fortitude and valuable open doors in the midst of emergency."
